Believe me I am not the one laughing at what you refer to as 3rd world countries. I as old enough to know how to repair things not replace them, I am old enough to know what our country was truly founded on and how to plant a crop and then harvest it. I know how to shoot a gun, reload and shoot again, I know how to build a shelter and survive with out all of what we have that has spoiled us. I believe we need to take a closer look at other countries. Our country is in trouble and as long as the Sheeple of the USA keep following the media we will continue to fall. You need to re read your little google post and take a close look at the replies it is clear that this is a numbers study you can do anything with numbers. Global warming is a joke and nothing but a scare all to generate the $$$. Same as our so called resources. As long as the human mind works we can and will continue to replace what ever it is that is about to run out. All the studies that showed we were going to burn up all the coal in the world, then all the natural gas, then all the gasoline, diesel it is all a bunch of hype.
Conversation is over go do more research with an open mind and Remember one great thing about our Amazing country if you do not like it here you are free to leave. This is One nation Under God. Not government, the government was created to govern not to regulate. The funny thing is we don't study what our laws truly effect after they are created we only study what we think we want to make happen. Look at the 55 mph law in Ca. it has caused more head on collisions that any other state with out it. Why people are always trying to pass the Semi truck that is being held up by the law. Any way I am done you are right we are way off topic and i did need to vent all I can pray for is that you got something positive out of all of this and that maybe you will consider supporting our country with your decisions on what you purchase as much as you consider our LOUD PIPES that have saved my life more than once.

I'm with ya on most of your points. However, as a previous American car "lifer" who's been burned WAY too many times, I will stick with import cars.

Even if I wasn't burned over and over again by the sh*tty "American" car companies...I will never buy their product which supports the crooked UAW, the epic failure currently occupying the WH and his socialistic agenda. Not to mention...most of the parts made on American cars are made in other countries now. There are NO American car companies left. Even parts of our HOGS are made out of the US.
