Default Fighting The Wind

I was reading the forum and came across a thread on wind deflectors. That got me wondering. Does anyone have a problem with the wind blowing their feet to the outsides of the floorboards. I put the Harleygoodies extensions on my Heritage and they helped a bit, but at highway speeds my right foot kinda slides to the right. I don't have hiway bars, so the chaps are out of the question. On my Honda, I adjusted the angle back on the boards a bit and that helped, but the HD boards aren't adjustable. On a long ride, my knee gets stiff because I'm keeping constant pressure on it to keep my foot planted on the board. I was thinking of a small "L" type of bracket that would attach to the underside of the board and bend up about 1" on the outside edge so that my boot would rest against it and not blow any further to the right. Does this make sense to anyone? Any other ideas or suggestions? thanx --craig

that could cause your foot to get stuck on the board and you can fall over at a stop. keep your knees to the tank and if your feet are not pressed enough to keep from falling off then you need to have the floor board closer to you and get taller boots and better boots that grip better
