thinkin bout a cam for a tad of boost/sound
what would be a good name brand/performance
that you all have installed
i gat just pipes a/c nuthin else
thanks mon
3 Popular cams for the 96" motor are (in no particular order): Wood TW6-6, SE204, Wood TW555 (brand new cam, but making good numbers). With the 6-6, I'd put a 4* advance gear on it to bring the power on sooner. All of these are going to up your hp/tq.
I like the Andrews 37g, but that's just cuz that's what I have. Im pushin 89hp & 98lb/ft in my 95". All I have is the bb kit cams intake and exhaust...
I have the old standard... se255's. Not a huge gain in acceleration, but lots of low end torque. It makes a great touring cam for that little extra power up a hill, or lets you lug it in 6th at much lower speeds. I'm sure there are better cams out there, but I'm happy with what I got.
What would be good for low to mid range power?
I'm not trying to break any land speed records so
I'm happy with how my hi end is.
Just want more get up and go power...and
of course the nice RUMBLE.
