Default High Side

I notice alot of riders mount and dismont their bikes from the high side, why is this. I guess i'm still a noob not to know this.

I dismount from the high side because it is just easier for me. For some reason when I try to dismount low I always trip on something and look like a dope. I do mount from the low side. Again easier for me. No other reason then that.

I usually get on and off from the left side, same as you do a horse.

Sometimes I get off on the high side, since both sides of my bike are about the same height now, lol.

Same here, guess you could say I'm a switch hitter, I mount and dismount from both sides, usually do it without thinking about it. got off the bike the other day at work and one of the guys said what's wrong with you, why you dismount from the high side, didn't even realise I did it. I just replied Go ahead and talk S##t, I'll give you a break since your too short for the high side.

i pretty much get on either side depending on which saddle back i put all my **** in..

When you have a backrest or solo tourpak and you can't swing your leg over it's easier to hold onto the higher grip and "stab" your leg across the seat.

That's how I developed the habit and it's stuck with me.

when you got short legs the backrest dont bother ya!!! i always get on from the left
