I think the bars cramp me on the low side (bars turned all the way to left). I think thats why I mount and dismount on the high side.

Usually low, but either one works. If parked in garage next to the wife's bike, then it's high side. More room to get situated.

+1 I only get on / off on the kickstand side -- even on a bike with a center stand. If I try the other way I always hit a boot on the back fender

I was in a military motorcycle safety class once where they said we had to use the other side. The theory was that if the bike fell over it would fall away from you and not on you. Really stupid ...

i do low side on/off, however, ive heard some people say they do the highside becasue they can squeeze down the front brake as they are mouting to i guess ensure the bike doesnt move.

It's easier to step down than to step up.

when your bike is on the side stand and you are standing up you are closer to getting off from the right. also being right legged, yes we have a dominate leg and not talking the other one, you can support your body weight better.

Ditto, your right about that.

I usually mount and dismount from the high side, but it depends on the space around the bike at the time.
My Rocker sits low enough there isn't much difference between low and high side.
My FXSTC with tall silly bar, I found it was easier to mount high side since it was leaning away. Must be the years of habit carried over.
