The wife & I were out riding and the battery idiot light on her bike kept coming on intermittently. It would stay on for maybe 5 minutes or so, then go out for another 10+ then cycle again.
Anyone have any insight as to what might be going on? Since it's only a year and a half old, I wouldn't think it would be the alternator, but who knows? Maybe a voltage regulator or battery itself?
If the little ladys bike is still under warranty, take it in. If it isnt, pull the codes and find out whats being thrown. Theres a troubleshooting guide in the DIY electrical section for testing the regulator and stator. Do that before you fry something you didnt want to
