I remember when the '06 catalog came out, I thought the paint scheme and the FLSTI was gorgeous (still do), its very harley esk. If you own one of these I would hold on to it forever. Very unique model, and only one production year. When I picked up my springer I seen one on the floor and was a little turned off by the lack of chrome, but thats just me.........I still dig the paint scheme, to bad they didnt keep it around. I had read somewhere that the '06 FLSTI was a 50th anniversary bike - here's a pic of a 1956 FLF. It sure looks like it, but it wasn't marketed that way!
One of the things I think is stupid or weird is that they have the fender tip lights/lenses that dont light up...Why have lenses if they dont work? Kinda wish mine lit up...
Also, someone said the engine parts were polished and clearcoated? Not mine. I recently stainded all my polished stuff with Castrol SuperClean degreaser and it all poilished out with Mothers and was not clear coated. My dealer even said they werent clear coated and was the one that actually told me to polish them out instead of replace them.
Anyone wanting a FLSTI email me...got one with 2100 miles that I would love to sell so I can get a new StreetGlide! lol

dang dude, why dont you just go ahead and tell me that my wife is ugly and my kids look like goons? i think i could handle that better than taking the criticism your giving my ride.
its all good!
No way man...Not criticising your ride...as you can see from my pic, its my ride too!!! Just pointed out something I thought was weird when i got my bike...that the fender lights were useless. Thats all. After that it was just a clarification that the polished parts werent clear coated as I had to ppolish mine due to a screw up on my part.
