I actually caught this too but Jeff was kind enough to take the time to reply to my post and give me some solid free advice so I didn't see the need to take the thread in a different direction..

LOL, I used a grand total of 2 primary gaskets on my '78 FLH in about 18 years. I used 1 on my current sled, but threw it away when I went to the Primo belt. I've got a new one hangin' on the shop wall that's a couple years old "just in case". Just gotta know what can be "recycled" and what can't!
