Default Chrome Inner Primary Cover

Anyone use one of these instead of swapping out the whole piece. This is just a cover that goes over the existing black one.

Actually no, I don't have it but I caught my eye... I thing that worries me is that it says that "it is not compatible with rear lowering kits" this is one thing I just don't understand...

Any of you guys have an idea of why is this???

I was going for the replacement part a year ago, then suddenly Kuryakyn came up with this idea, which sounds like a great choice, but "not with rear lowering kits"??? hummmm....

Regards.

I got one on my Deluxe. It looks great. I have had no problems and it was way more affordable.

I've had the cover on my Wide Glide and now have one on my Deluxe and Wife's SE Fatboy. I like the look on all three.....

Guess my age is showing. I can tell a cover when I look at 'em. Sorry guys, but this ol' fart thinks covers are cheesy. But that is just my opinion. Y'all can do whatever y'all want, and I'm pretty dang sure it won't matter to me. Plus there's plenty of y'all that probably wouldn't like my Sloptail.

Guys, all the money we spend why take a short cut?
Would you rather have a cover or a real chrome inner primary?

Just how easy ? It's not something I ever tackled before. I'm one of those bolt on mechanics...
