I'm riding an 08 Heritage with a Stage 1 AC and V&H Straight shot slip ons. Sometimes when start the bike it will run okay for a minute or two then when coming to a stop the bike will die. If I turn the ignition off and back on it resets and the bike will be fine for a week or more before doing it again. I am going to hook up my laptop to it to check the firmware version and see if an update may be available. I wanted to see if anyone as heard of this issue before I do that.
I don't have a fuel manager but I had that exact same issue last year. Pull in the clutch, rpms would drop and engine would stall. If I just restarted it with the run switch it would do it at the next stop or so. But if I turned the ignition off and restarted it from scratch I may get a few days or a week before it happened again.
Had some other issues also such as pinging and high idle when hot. Took it to the dealer under warranty and of course they said they couldn't replicate any of the problems. They did however update the ecm software which as I recall they said would solve the high idle issue.
Turned out it solved all 3 of my issues. Haven't had a repeat of any since.
