I know what your talking about it saying two different amounts in the manual. One place is 16.0 and another is 12.9.
Like I said before I put in 13.4oz for the 1" drop HD springs and its been working great so.....
I just called progressive for ya and Frank says its 12.0 oz for the drop-ins on a 06 Deluxe, Id start there.

Yeah that must be a typo. I ended up putting in 12oz in each side. Still no leaks and you guys are right about feeling better about working on your own bike, very rewarding... Now I can ride knowing all the bolts are tight and torqed to th right spec. It's a great feeling. Also thanks for your guys imput and info.
I hate to say it, but nearly every time someone else touches my bike, with the exception of kk6pg and our shop mechanic, something goes wrong. Go figure.
plus 1 santo...get toknow your bike, them stealers are rip offs.....hd motors and parts are easy to work on, just gotta get past the nerves and dig in then it comes pretty easy... and you dont hack up or scratch your bike, cuz they dont care its not there bike....glad to hear ya got it all worked out......the hd service manual is like a bible
