i got an 07 cuz it has the bigger tire and engine, also thats the year hd started doing denim (flat paint) bikes. best value to sickness ratio for trains imo
I have an 06. No problems at all. 06's are a little cheaper because they still have the TC88 motor and 5 speed trans but they do have the 200mm tire (first year). I think only the first year of production was the only year it came with an evo motor.07's and up are TC96 motors with 6 speed trans. For under 11 grand your 06 or older is the best bet. All trians are good trians.
my 08 is trouble free. ( knock on wood ) 200mm tire and the 96cuin..( soon to be SE 110 cu in..They only thing I don't like is the space between rear tire and fender...gonna do 422s this winter also.I love my color..flat red denim....
