Looking at wheels for my 2008 Fatboy and see a lot of 18's available for it. Anyone have these? How do they affect handling? How do they affect speedometer? I live in the mountains and don't what to hurt handling in the twisties.

I have 18s on mine front and back and love them. They handle great, don't affect speed and look sweet. They really open up the wheel. I'm running a 140 front for a fatter look. Plus no mods to stock fender required.
I have sold many of these sets and never have heard any negative feedback. I have run the 18/18 set up on my Deluxe and had no problems. I now run a 21/18 set up.
I'm not sure what type of wheels you are looking for but I have a couple of PM wheels on clearance. Give me a call or send a private message and I can get you some great prices on these.
I have ridden several different fatties with 18" wheels/tires and I love the combination. You can go with a good sticky tire like Metzler or Avon and the handling is fantastic. The only downside I can see is that your tire mileage is probably better now than it will be with the softer compound 18" tires but if you are most concerned about performance and looks go with the 18".
