OK, I'm still planning. I have a fender of ebay ($40). I plan on buying a wire-feed welder there also. I have never welded before. The fender is going to be swingarm mounted. Can anyone give me guidance on how I should weld brackets on the fender for attaching to the swingarm?
I'm thinking maybe a piece of angle welded cross ways to the fender and attach to the upper swingarm with U-bolts.
I plan on an "Captain America" axle mounted sissy bar to support the back end.
If this project ever gets off the ground I'l be posting pictures
