I got an email from Heartland USA last night with a link to their site.
They have a 280 kit for the Rocker. http://heartlandbiker.com/CampaignPr...12995&KID=7564
Also Did anyone get their free heartland Tshirt? All you have to do is post a picture of your ride on their site. I got mine last week. Nice.
I just got off the phone with Jake. The retail on this is $2599. It should be ready to ship in 4-6 weeks. Here is the kicker. You will need to buy a wheel and pulley from them that will fit this setup as if the wheel is off by 1/16" it will not work. the tolerances are very tight. He does not have prices on the wheels yet, but there will be a whole line wheels available. The first wheel available will be one that matches the stock Rocker wheel perfectly. I should know more tomorrow or Monday and be able to start taking pre-orders for those who are interested in a super fat Rocker. Remember, Dr. V-twin always discounts heartland stuff.
I know I'm weird, but I like the looks of a 200 or 240 rear tire. I think narrower than a 200 is too skinny but fatter than a 240 is too fat. Just a proportion thing.
I officialy resign my "ANTI HEARTLAND THREAD" ....i'm a friggin jergoff!!!...gotta have the fat tire and if Heartland is willing to make it...then, i'll play their game. I WANT ONE!
but....damn....can something be done about the gap in the fender PLEASE!!! its not good...AT ALL
.....OR
keep the gap as the normal Rocker would have....buy a 280 tire & 18x10 wheel, get a fender, have it painted and ROLL.....idk
interesting though
Seems a little pricey for 40 more MM's... I know they have to make money and stuff but damn... All of their stuff is cool but too expensive for my blood.
