I'm running a '09' 96" with SE intake, PC-V and Rush slip-ons. I normally run between 170 and 180 miles before I get a 'low fuel' light. Then I take four gallons to fill back up.
It's crazy..butt...stock 88 TC...new out of the box. I got 35 mpg......95 in. 575 cams. headwork..forged 10:1 pistons....35mpg....now 103in..same cams and 10:1 flatops.....you guessed it 35mpg...
Pulling the trailer...80 mph...2 up....it can go down to 25mpg....
Haven't checked actual milage lately but I can go about 180 miles on both my bikes before pulling into a gas station. Even then I find I usually have almost a gallon left.
'03... 88 TC... carbureted... stage one... V&H dual exhaust... 44mpg on average city and highway... hit reserve at 200... I know that I can go 221 combined miles and then I am pushing the bike... done it four times... yes with a reserve! My 5 gallon tank holds 5.27 gas station gallons when dead empty.
