Well almost ready for another round of Mods.BUT I just found a 2006 Sportster 883r with 260 Miles.Yes 260 miles all stock mint, from a big bike /car collection.I can pick it up for $4000.00.But with that kind of $ I could pretty much finish up the Deluxe.Chrome swing arm,Ride wright Fat Daddys, matching sprocket and rotors and may be even the shot gun shock. What do you think you would do.Any one with 2 bikes Do you really find time to use them both?
I had 3 bikes, 2002 XL833, 1982 Yamaha XS650 that I did a cafe style racer, and my 2010 FLSTC. Sold the sporty and yamaha, did not ride them much. Will put the money in the FLSTC.

My original plan was to do a 70's Honda cb ,or Kawasaki kx into a cafe bike.I already did the bobber thing with my 2010 Iron 883 which I sold to get my Deluxe. This ad just stood out as a real good deal.Just dont want to impulse buy and regret it.
Mods to Deluxe!! Like said before, 2 bikes is nice, but get one lookin sick first.
Thats part of my problem I think my Deluxe is looking pretty sick right now.I will continue to mod it .It will just take a little more time. Its not going any where. But that 883r wont be around that long. But as stated you guys are right not real practical. Its seems more like a novelty.I love those R's though. Its a tough call for me
Sometimes practicality sucks....variety is the spice of life....etc cliches...
get the sporty....it'll be fun to sometimes jump on it to run to the store or a quick little trip through a short winding country road....especially if you will continue to mod the deluxe (albeit slower). I'd regret not buying into a great deal. Oh, and to answer your question....if you have 2 bikes (or 3 or 4) you'll ride 'em, dude.
