Thanks everyone, gonna order the Mustache Bar tomorrow.
I stopped at a light the other day, went to put my foot down and there was something slick on the ground. One of those "OH ****" moments. Was able to hold on to the bike before it went down, but I decided right there and then that an Engine Guard was in order.
Does your SE AC stick out more than stock? If so and perhaps even if not you may want to reconsider the moustache bar.
Unless you just like the look over the standard Chrome there really isn't any good reason to get the moustache imo.
The pads on top are only marginally useful as a footrest because they are so close in and with an extended AC they become totally useless.
Wife got rid of hers in favor of the standards and I'm getting ready to get rid of mine.
Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for the heads up, but I just like the looks of it better. I'm going for a cross between the nostalgic looks of the Heritage and a Fighter Jet (or something like that)
Hi mate...sorry to hijack your thread. I was just wondering how tall you are and if you find the tall boy seat comfortable. Is it a comfortable stretch to the bars and foot pegs?

I'm 6' 4" with a 36" inseam. I've got the Tallboy seat that raises you up 3" and back 2" (part # 51469-06A)
I've also got Forward Controls and I just installed the Harley 16" Fat Ape/Riser Combo.
I'm just now starting to feel that the bike "fits" me the way I would like.
I'm actually considering Extended Forward Controls, but I'm afraid that may be too much.
Yes, I think the Tallboy seat is comfortable and my wife likes the passenger part of it also.
This has been quite a process modifying the bike so that it fits me, but there is now light at the end of the tunnel.
