joe, i think you and all the carburetors you once owned need to have an intimate moment alone.
if a guy asked me for advice on say a 64 Chevelle SS the last thing that would come to mind is that it's carburetored
if a guy asked me for advice on an 82 Ford Fairmont the last thing that would come to mind is that it's carburetored
see my point?
it's a given that it's carburetored... the fact that it might require some maintenance is beside the point... it doesn't govern the fact that it's a 91 Harley with 30k miles on it being sold for 6k dollars

What made you think of an 82 Fairmont? What a boat...LOL
Congrats on the bike and the price is not bad depending on condition. Check out the EVO section of this board with your questions-(we like carbs over there..Ha!)..

condition is straight, Doug... i mean, i'm gonna tear this thing down anyway, like i did with my street bob
1st things to do are drag bars, solo seat, exhaust, prog 422s, and wheels (don't like that slotted disc)
...and will definitely check out the EVO section!
and my first car was a 64 Chevelle... and last one before i bought a new one 12 years later was an 82 Fairmont WAGON....LOL!
