I make my own lay-down licence plate brackets. Here's how.

Dissasemble the stock bracket. Remove the red reflector. Drill two 1/2" holes in the face of the bracket where the reflector was. Make sure these holes line up with the two holes that go through the bracket and rear fender.
Position a chrome licence trim plate and licence plate as a template and drill two more 5/16" holes in the face of the bracket where you want the licence to be, the lower the better.
Put the bracket in a vise and flatten it. Dry fit it to the bike until you get it to where you want it. You can use a rag or a piece of rubber to protect it from getting scratched when flattening it, but it is barely going to be seen after you install it.
Mount the bracket to the fender with two of the original mounting screws.
Add the top mounting bracket. This is the piece that hooks over the licence plate. Do not tighten it yet. Attach the licence plate and chrome trim to the bracket thru the two 5/16" holes and chrome trim screws. Slide the top bracket down so it hooks over the licence plate. It only hooks onto the licence and not the trim. Add two trim screws through the two top holes in the licence plate and chrome trim.
Tighten everything and you now have a lay-down bracket.

All this may seem like a lot, but the entire process takes less than an hour. I know you can buy a chrome one from Drag or CCI, but there is a satisfaction in making one of your own.

I miss read what you had written, I though you were looking for a lay down licence plate holder which is custom chrome. I do have the kuryakyn lay down tail light and I love it, its brighter and its just plug and play no load equalizer required. also i have the harley module that turns your rear turn signals into running lights and break lights and there is no problem with both inslalled.
