Rocky you can install a Nacelle with your stock risers but you will need to modify the Nacelle covers (ouch). The Deluxe risers sit flush on the triple tree and don't allow the two Nacelle half’s to fit under the deluxe risers. Plus you won’t be able to use the riser cover that finishes off the look of the Nacelle. You can run it without the cover. I saw a member here on the forums that had a nice cover that fit under the risers and covered up nicely. I used Heritage risers on mine, that’s what the kit calls for, I didn’t want to modify the nacelle housings.

Not the riser cover, just the nacelle cover for the risers. Had to do a little grinding for clearance.

Looking sick as usual! I'm glad you finally got one that was not scratched too.

Thanks Jimmy...I think I might have the same riser already but I'm not sure. I'll take a picture of my riser tomorrow and post it on this thread so you can see it.

If it's not...than I will absolutely take you up on that offer!

Question...did you have to modify your riser cover to fit over your bars?
JayDee,
Removing 1/16"-1/8" shouldn't be too bad. Does the cover have a flat surface or slightly curved?
Carefully measure and tape above the cut mark using blue masking tape. Cover the entire piece to protect from scratching.
Repeat the taping above the mark with 3/4" tape and built up with several layers to create a thick fence.
If you're only removing 1/16" (and the cover is flat) I'd use a bench-top belt sander. Most are equipped with a 5" disk on the side. 150 grit on the disk/belt should be good. Finish off the inside radius (handlebar) with a series of drum sanders chucked in a drill press. A Dremel is O.K. but you're limited to a 1/2" drum bit, and is difficult to smooth the entire radius uniformly.
If the cover is heavy gauge steel or otherwise, use a bench-top band saw w/ fine-tooth blade. Sand the cut smooth as described.
Good luck.
