Default Rocker at the Lonestar Rally Galveston Tx

I just recently came back from the Lonestar Rally this past weekend. I noticed a lot of Rockers during the whole time there. Two Rockers in particular caught my eye.
1. Had a huge Banana looking seat with a sissy bar right on the stock fender.

2. Second bike had a pillion pad right on the stock fender with no support from the fender to the swing arm.

I thought both were odd since most of the threads on here don't recommend this type of setup.

Thoughts?

I have that seat. It was on the Rocker when I bought it. But I had the stock seat installed for everyday riding. The deal almost fell through as a result. The dealership couldn't find the stock seat and said they couldn't reduce the price either. I told them order the stock seat and put it on or the deal's off. They did. Anyway lots of people on this forum told me that that Widowmaker seat would tear up the fender, but when they took the seat off the fender was immaculate underneath. Let me tell you, that Corbin seat weighs a ton. I couldn't believe how heavy it was when I put it in my car. It must have a really heavy metal frame to keep it from flexing over the rear fender with a passenger.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at maybe changing the stock seat so my wife would be more comfortable. The Corbin seat looks huge.

I have a project bike I am working on (74 Ironhead).

Yup. I may be interested in selling it because I rarely ride two up.

If you run that seat I STRONGLY suggest using a plastic film barrier to protect your paint. I used to run a Corbin solo seat which did scratch the clear. Now I have a Danny Gray solo which came with the clear film for the fender, as they even say it's possible their seat will damage paint too. I thought the Corbin was very comfortable and felt like a bucket seat, I just didn't think it fit the look I was going for.
