I have a T-Max with auto tune and I like it but the auto tune only does AFR and I can't find a tuner near the FL Panhandle that works with them, I did add a little timing in the lower R's and it seemed to help but I don't want to push it. Fuel Moto has a new system out that looks good and cost less.http://www.fuelmotousa.com/

But with the autotune module the new fuel moto system is up with the TM in cost.
I have it on my 07 FLSTC. No one in my area knows anything about them. I still have decel pop and also pop sometimes when shifting. I've had the people at Zippers try to tweak it two different times at rallys. Still not happy with the results. I don't know enough about it to try and tweek it myself. I have auto tune. JMO. I'm sure other people have had good results. Next time I'll go with a SERT and have it dynoed. My bike is just Stage One.

Have you tried putting the stock ecm back on and seeing if you still get the decel pop. Just wondering if maybe it's unrelated to the TM.
I had a Thunder Max with auto tune on my 2007 Heritage. I was told it would auto tune and all the crap about the O2 sensors and so on. Well I had detonation problems and was told I had to have the timing set. Then mine failed. The 3 second fuel pump initiation program became intermittent. They told me they would warranty it however it didn’t do me any good setting in Spearfish South Dakota during the Sturgis fest with no trailer. The only Harley shop I could get to answer the phone was in Gillette and the mechanic told me that it voided my warranty. If you read the warranty he is correct. It states clearly any alteration to the ECM would void warranty. I am clearly aware of what Magnus Moss states and the producers of Thunder Max say however when the rubber meets the road a Harley dealer told me no warranty. I had my original ECM air freighted to me and it fired up with no problem. I could have sent it in for warranty however I wasn’t going to reinstall anyway so I threw it in the trash and took my losses. Don’t bother telling me it could have been my relay or other things because they are still the stock ones and working fine with the stock ECM. I unplugged the Thunder Max and cleaned the connections and did everything I could think of and it didn’t help. It would work once or twice then not work. It left me stranded.
If you buy a device to access your ECM, Super Tuner, Master Tuner and have a good dyno tuner set it up it will perform to your needs.
I haven't had any problems with mine, bike runs pretty damn good too.
When I had my cams installed my indy said my bike made more tq and hp than any other 96" he'd dynoed in his shop so far and he only made 2 pulls so the autotune really hadn't had a chance to work yet.
It runs better now than when I first got it out of the shop.
It is hard to find a tuner that knows it though..........
The autotune feature seems to working real good on mine so I can't complain about it.
Other opinions may vary..........
