You shouldn't be. I'll be using 1 1/4" dimpled bars. But I'm getting them raw, modifying, then sending them out to powder. If you plan on welding in the throttle, I don't think it matters.

Stock switch housings can still be used, right?

I had to modifiy my streamline to make my stock switches work.

fireman, can you describe that mod, I have the streamline and am getting ready to do my bars this would be a great help thanks.

Did you notice any difference in braking power with the 3/16" line?

The Steam line uses a vice angled piece inside the bar to lock it into the bars. Well that piece is right where the switch wiring needs to be run through. So I deleted that piece and square cut the end of the throttle body piece and used three set screws to hold it into the bars. Been working for about a year without any problems.

Not really. But I replaced the stock pads with the best aftermarket ones I could get.

Ok, thanks. I plan on converting to a hydraulic clutch and running the line through the bars.

My bars came yesterday. Now I need 96+ hand controls, exile internal throttle, hydraulic clutch release, throttle cable and hydraulic lines. (:

Then, engine mods, raked front end, seat, shocks, pipes, paint, and wheels.

I dunno if anyone will see this but that brake line. How is it holding up. Any leaks or breaks. I would like to do this but am i lil concerned how it will hold up.
