Bill lists them for $1800 @ BR Custom Bars, but yes very costly.
If I was making a show bike, I'd get em. A buddy keeps telling me to enter mine in a show or he'd enter it under his name.
chaz (RIP)..did the small brake line and single throttle cable, no need for the other one, if you trust the spring on the throttle housing.(witch is tough)..looks clean...keep us posted and try finding his old posts, look up his name and look at his posts
Exile cycles has the internal throttle for 200 and then they have a switch which reads the following " This super-clean switch-bar can be installed into rubber or billet grips or even in to the handle-bar itself. It measures 3.5" x 0.75" and is only about 0.2" thick! The switch-bar has one small wire that exits the bars and plugs in to a 5"x1"x1" module that is easily hidden under the tank. We typically use the 4 switches to control left and right turn, horn and Hi/Lo. There are two other 'circuits' programmed in to the module so holding two of the switches down at the same time can be used to operate starter and one other function of your choice. $399
I had to sale the 20's before I started this project. Shipped them off this afternoon. And yes I loved those $1900 controls but I work for a living and have kids that are into everything. So this is my own style. Plus trying to start doing this on my days off through my own company. So here is the last work for the night.
When making a wiring harness for the stock controls on a softail and the 16" Carlini's you wiring needs to be at least 49" to 52" long. I posted pics below to show how I measured mine. But I took the trouble out of moving wiring and bars so y'all know for your projects. Now details in the wiring include: Do not cut all the wires at the same length. There will be a large lump in the harness. So stager the splices out. This way they are even all the way down and easier to pull through the bars. I will be adding heat shrink to the entire length before they go into the bars. Good night to all. More progress on Friday night due to holiday and work.
And last picture is the splice that will be behind the headlight. Which needs to be between the 36" to 42" length.
