Better quality is the answer, it's not always about paying for the name.
Why would you spend $15-$25 K on a bike and choose a $99 lift?
Just think of how you would feel if you saw your bike on its side on the floor after the lift broke. Get the better quality lift like the Pit Bull or the J&S and be happy
Many have purchased the cheaper lifts and were not happy after the fact but they usually don't relate the story. It's like buying cheap tools, they usually will break or do damage to the part being worked on.
I have had a craftsmen for a few years and seems to do the job but wobbles end to end even with the straps on , thinking about a otc jack they run about $180
OK, I've reached my limit and can't read one more jack thread! Tomorrow I'm going to order either a J & S or a Pitbull. I'll decide when I get up in the morning.
Unfortunately Santa skips my house due to religious affiliation. I think my other lift has been oredered for my B-Day which is about 10 days off. I am sure it will do the trick for now. It is really funny though. Next time I do this I am getting hired first so I can get a free one.
