Default Softbrake?

Love the look, just a few questions.

Does the stock lens fit?

Do I need to add another illumination light? If so what do you guys use

How hard is the install? Remove fender

Don't take the rear fender off, it's not necessary. it's a bit tight but you can get to all the bolts underneath with a 1/4 inch drive socket. Put it up on the jack and that will lower the tire enough to get to what you need. 40 minute job...tops. BTW I bought a LED license plate holder off ebay for $15 and it works great.

I did mine on the stand but since I don't have a jack I would take the fender off if I were to do it again. It really doesn't take much time for four bolts and an electrical plug.

Yup, stock lens.

I used a Radianz LED frame, been going 2 years, no drama. Wired it to the old plate bulb. Looks awesome at night.

This plate relocator is the best bang-for-the-buck mod ever.

So I'll need these:

Steel License Plate Relocator
Tombstone Taillight Housing
and an LED frame

Could I just use the plate relocator without the housing?

you can but the stump (mount) for your old plate is going to be sticking up plus if you look at the license plate it has a cut out where the light lights up your plates.

There is a cutout on the bottom for the tab off the plate mount that is not on the stock housing. You could dremel it out I guess but if you are going this far, just get it.

Plus getting rid of the clear window on top of the housing is one of the best parts to me.
