I know new calipers would be the ultimate answer, but what is the best replacement brake pads for the Crossbones? I thought I read on here that certain types eat up the rotors, I obviously don't want that. I just want something that will stop this thing a little better....
+1 On the Zpads. They wont eat up rotors either, especially if you have custom rotors. They even make them all organic, specially for polished rotors. Which means no warping of rotors or dust on wheels. Kinda pricey, But worth it IMHO.
Gotta love the spongy front brake on the bones. Its a trip going from my X-bones to the roommates GSXR. He has no rear brake its completely metal on metal and I can still stop wayyy faster on his bike than I can on mine.

Never heard of Zombie pads before Brett
6-piston (front) PM calipers. The best $400 buxs spent on the bike (well, maybe only last year ) They have also the 4 piston for the rear setup. Why better ammo, when you can upgrade the gun???

Mimo.
I run the PM calipers too. In fact the main reason I bought my bike was that it already had the Pm's on it. Well worth the price of admission.

I like how you put it. I've been considering some PM calipers myself since Drew has mentioned it before how he's been running them and happy with them.
