Get some fat ones like I used, kinda beefy looking, they are about 3 3/4" to 4" tall. Help get the bars up near level with the top of the counsel. Remember how Tom's bike looks with the shorter risers? Always kinda bugs him. I think Harley sells them. I think thats where I got mine from.

I try to document everything I do to the bike.
It also helps us non mechanical types get the stuff back together.
I also keep a three ring binder with all my paperwork and receipts for parts so I can track everything...
I installed the 12.5 ww chubbies and I thought I used my stock risers. Can't remember now. Why won't your risers work?
