Basically its 10 different strokes
veticle line, horizontal line, left C, right C, upwards C, downwards C, and S curves, left right, up and down. He says to do them 1000 times each, then you are ready. I have been doing about 50 of each per day. He says to strive for consistency. I have noticed a difference already.
On another note, I feel like I am starting all over now. I have not been reducing the paint really. I was goofing off today and reduced it more than I usually did with the ocassional dip in mineral spirits. I reduced a little black down to where it was a bit thicker than milk. WOW, the lines flowed so much better. The reason I tried it was I was starting to feel like I had to much drag on the brush.
Google search wizard's pinstriping basics. He has a DVD that explains the 10,000 stroke method, its like 27 bucks. I found a guy on ebay and got it for 6. When I got it, I found it was a copy.....but none the less.
Werd. I'll check it out once mypay gets it's head outa it's *** and pays me lol. I have been training up for my next PT test so I'm usually not home at night in enough time to practice as much as I should. Gotta make time if this is gonna be a productive skill!!
*Edit: Didn't I post pics of that helmet at some point?
