[FONT=Georgia]I see your style coming out on those panels. Nice work. I've been throwing around the idea of laying out some pinstripping. It has been quite some time since I did anything artistic. The only thing I have to say about your work, constructive of course, is this one thing. The paint appears to be heavy and uneven. The lines need to have equal amount of paint. I noticed it earlier, but chalked it up to the use of rustoleum paint and the brushes. Then you used 1 shot and it appears again. Everything else is effing great. With only a few weeks of practice I can only imagine where you will be going with this.
I will say that the can of fire red I have is the first shade of one shot that really needs to be thinned a bit. It seems to gum up quickly. I just add a bit of mineral spirits when I pallet...
Brett: that's true. The fire red gums a bit. Its the only color I have right now. I'm still using the oil base white for contrast.
Dutch: thank you for the kind words, Sir! I appreciate the constructive criticism more than you know! I do have a line consistency issue that I attribute to my lack of experience and shaky hand. That video is great btw. I'm gonna sit down and finish that design on the silver tonight so I'll post pictures later. Gonna scrape the other panels and fire up a new one too.
Dutch: your being too kind. I appreciate it though.
Brett: save what panel? The spade? OH and I can't believe I almost forgot, I ordered an E.T scroller!! You are gonna like that #3 Kafka. It makes really thick lines sometimes though...

Yeah, the spade....if you want. I picked up 5 8x10 plasticote panels at lowes today $2 a piece. I will post some pics to pinheads once I get one "done"
You know that once you stripe that plasticote, its
Permanent right? Just an FYI unless you wipe it while its still wet.... You think you can build off of the spade panel? Looks too cluttered to me...
