You know that once you stripe that plasticote, its
Permanent right? Just an FYI unless you wipe it while its still wet.... You think you can build off of the spade panel? Looks too cluttered to me...
No, I meant to swap with ya. That's why I got the plasticoat. To do a panel for ya!!!
I have heard of it that way, also heard of them being assigned a "theme" and everyone does their own take on it and exchanges panels. I was actually going to do one also using the spade idea and then see if ya wanted to swap. I did a panel tonight, but it is my first real panel. I like the way it came out. I still need to paint the backside, once I do, I will post a pic. Still a little slopiness, but getting better. I am still using a Mack 00 20 series too.
Fack it, I'll go grab some more lexan and whip up another spade theme. Then we can swap. I wanna grab some new colors first. Should be good by tomorrow night.
OK,OK gosh....don't laugh.....if you do, at least don't type it
If that's the case, don't worry about another spade themed design. Hell, ain't got to be a theme at all. Although, since this is a Harley site, we could do a spin on the Harley logo.....
Hell ya!! That's the point of this thread, amateur pinstripers showing their progress! Lookin good! I forget where I read this but someone in the biz wrote "Keep your brushes oiled while you sleep and moving while you're awake." Some amateur to amateur constructive criticism: bring your lines closer together, as in, it almost looks like someone grabbed each side of your design and stretched it apart...make any sense? As with everything said from the mouth of someone with limited experience, take it with a grain of salt! Stripe on!
