Default stage 1

I have a 2008 softail deluxe I installed screamin eagle stage 1 air kit
do I have to have the bike remaped or is it not nessesary? I have installed stage 1 slip-ons (rush)also.

I would get a tuner as opposed to the remap. My bike had the remap when I bought it (used) and it ran like crap with it. And my opinion is yes, you need to do something or the bike will run too lean.

Yes too lean, listen to drew. Ive got my PCIII on order, should be here tues. If your gonna do AC, Pipes, etc. You need to address the fuel/air mixture also. You could possibly run into probs like I have from runnin to hot(lean), JMHO

I have to agree.If you just did the pipes you would be fine with the stage 1 download.But adding a high flow A/C your bike would benefit from a better Fuel Tuner.Your bike will love you for it.

Yes...get something. I run the V&H FuelPak on my Deluxe and haven't had any issues.
