trip meter knob removal

Default trip meter **** removal

i have a 1995 Fat Boy, how does one remove the trip meter ****
is there a small screw to remove

Most have a small screw inside it. Look at it from the side and you should see it.

I can't keep them on mine they like to vibrate off even with red loctite.

Thanks, i was able to remove the console with out taking it out
had to put new clip on pin for speedo
wondering if will be able to get back on without removal

There is, indeed, a very small phillips head screw in the ****. You probably won't even be able to see it. You'll need something like a eyeglass repair screwdriver to get it out.
