I know this has been beaten to death, but I cannot find the info using the search feature.
For those of you who removed your front turn signals, what did you do with the wiring? I thought I read somewhere that you had to put a resistor in it or something?
I disconnected the battery then clipped them where they come out of the bars. Make sure not to smash the wires together. Then I got liquid electrical tape and covered the ends.
The '11's have different wiring than the older ones. My understanding is that the circuitry will allow them to work regardless of lost lights etc. Not sure for how long though. Have you considered relocating them to to the forks?
Lazyboy, I have thought about moving them, but not sure if I want to or not. Guess I need to explore the my options a little more before I do anything.
