just came back from the bike show .the new blackline is a good looking bike i dig the new bars they are like having straight risers with drag bars except different lol what i mean is the riding position and feel , and wide glide front end looks awesome single gauge and idiot light bar below.i can see a lot of people buying this bike
I saw this bike today on the website. Looks nice if you like the Dark Custom look. I also agree that the big rear tire look is something I am glad is going away. I am sure that Harley will sell quite a few of these machines. They have the "attitude" thing going with this one for sure.
Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of that awful fat rear tire trend, and bikes can once again look like bikes.
Yeah, I suppose you are right. I always put bigger back tires on something that could smoke it off, lol! I have what I have... But a 200 is only medium, 250-up is fat!

The more I look at this bike, (on HD's site) the more I like it! I see a lot of posts here about how the MoCo has their head up their *** and not paying attention to what riders want, but as I look at all the little details on this bike, I believe the exact opposite is true and that H-D is putting this model out there to see how it appeals riders. And I think it will.
Check it out:
No seat post
Coil relocated to where the horn was (very popular mod, lately)
Horn relocated to the front of the frame, uncovered and pretty well out of sight
Football A/C gone (everybody seems to get rid of those eventually)
Clean rear fender
Rear fender hugs the tire nicely (look at all the slammed softails out there, lately)
Stripped down, clean and simple - a lot already done on this bike that a lot of people are spending money to do to their own Softails. IMO, this is the first bike I've seen in awhile that says H-D is FINALLY getting it! MSRP isn't way off base, either. I think this bike will definitely sell. Anybody who thinks otherwise is on crack!
Kowan, your bars could be spotted a mile away, no others like it haha!
I do like this blackline thing. Not too bad with some further sculpting. Few people leave them stock if they plan to keep for awhile. Where is the fuel pump access on the non-consoled tanks? Are they external pumps?

I love chrome, but have seen some very cool looking all blacked out bikes.
The bike looks to have a low profile console and I'd bet the access is hidden under it.
