Yes. The Lo is a great bike for learning. You'll sit more "in" the bike and enjoy the ride more. I also have a Deluxe (my wife's bike) and have to disagree with cpc0812 on the engine part. They both have the exact same engines in them so there's no vibration on either bike. In fact all the Softails have that engine. My only recommendation would be for you to get an engine guard on the bike when you buy it. They're good to have even if you weren't a beginner, but it may save you a lot of money when you do the low speed parking lot riding. It's easy to lay it down doing that and the guard will save your engine and legs. Good luck. You're going to love the Deluxe.

Don't go to fast in a high speed turn. You need to get used to this. If you panic you will go in a straight line. For the rest no problemo.

Bought a Lo back in September, first bike. I was pretty nervous about the size at first but one trip down a non-busy road and got comfortable quick. I took the MSF as well and the first time down the interstate and busy city streets and got the hang real quick! Good luck man, you'll love the Lo! Be safe
