2012 Softail convertible for $20,000?
I wish Harley Davidson would create a regular Softail Convertible for $20,000 in 2012 to go along with the CVO version! Harley Davidson are you listening???

Legally, they could say that all their softails are "convertible", lol! You got to scream louder haha. The only convertible ones that I was aware of were the CVOs. Have they never made a non-CVO version? They look decent but I am not a fan of the painted frames on the CVO versions, paint sets not as easily swappable and risk colour clashing.

I believe that he's talking about a Convertible with a 96CI, although I'd like to see it with a 103CI and a standard paint job. So that your average guy could own one. I'd love to have one myself, but at $28,000 plus, it's way out of my price range!

I made my '06 a 'convertible' long before they came out... with all the customization that I wanted, too, plus a full set of fxrg riding gear for about 21k. Two seats, demountable sissy, demountable bags, demountable windshield. I was surprised when they started selling a 'convertible'. I thought... what's the big deal?

Throw detachable bags and windshield on any Softail and you got your convertible. :-) I happen to have one of the Softail Convertible Deluxes.....

I hear ya PerkinsDA, when I saw that 110", ABS brakes, and cool fairing and speakers, I luved it. Everybody I ride with has their Street Glides and Road Glides and just cruise all day with them on my FB. Harley NEEDS to do something for us softail guys on a budget.
