was looking around at duals for my Lux, i know alot of the guys here love thier 39" cholos , but i was eyeballin the chrome/chrome Bub7 true duals. does anyone here have any experience with them at all? any input positive or negative is welcome.
I switched from a set of D&D Fat Cats w/ Q baffles to the BUB 7 TD on my 08 117 SE Road King. I lost 3 hp @ 5500 rpm. However, I rarely cruise around at that rpm. I did gain 3 ft lb of tq from idle to 4200 rpm. This I did not expect.
Fit and finish is excellent. They are a touch loud but I love the sound great. More bass than Rineharts (I've had them before and love the sound) with at the blattt sound when you jump on her.
I switch as I could not get use to the FC sound or the single exhaust on a bagger.
I like the BUB's so much I put em on 02 SE Road King!
??? looking at some Rinehart slipons made by Bub - can't find anything to indicate if I need to have the ECU adjusted afterwards. Rinehart says not to do for 09 and up. I have an 08 Road Glide. Any thoughts?

Bub no longer makes any of the Rinehart pipes, but you might be able to find some leftovers cheap. Slip on's only and no hi flow air cleaner there is no need for a tuner. Bub true duals are nice, but I am a Samson man all the way. I can get the bubs for you as well.

??? I've been doing too much research on this. Now I ?? if my 08 RG (non CA model) has a cat and if so is it in the head pipe or in the stock mufflers I intend to remove and replace with slipons? A can of worms...
