Wondering if any one running a PC3 or PCV got it Dyno tuned? Was it worth it?What were the benefits of it? I have a PCV from Fuel Moto with a canned map.The bike runs great no decel pop nothing.I was just wondering if a custom Dyno tune is worth it?The only authorized Dyno Jet facility by me wants 300.00 is that the going rate?
if you spend $2.5K in parts for a motor upgrade or $4.5K-5K if you don't do the work yourself; what's $300 bucks to ensure you are getting your money and peformance out of the build. A base map will probably run OK but a good tuner will make it run great. If you just do pipes, tuner and stage 1, i'd save the $300 and run a base map off the website.
Thanks for the feed back fellas. No Motor upgrades now or in the near future. Its a 2010 Deluxe with a A/C and Samson dual's .Looks like I'll save my $$$$.Or just spend it on something else.
+1 on the advice. Fuel Moto MAPS are pretty close accross the board. If you only have a Stage 1 its not worth it to Dyno if the MAP jamie sent you is running well (no popping, smoth power from idle to WOT) If you do build your engine their will be fine tuning that you will benefit from and its worth the $ to dyno.

Yep just stage 1.I am very impressed with the set up Fuel Moto has provided.I hear a lot of stories with decel pop ,flat spots etc.The bike runs really strong from idle to WOT in every gear.Even with the un baffled cholos.Knowing my luck I would pay 300.00 for a custom map and the bike would run worse.
+1 MLWILSON
If you haven't done the upgrades then wait until you at least do your cams (if you do them). If your curious as to how the Fuel Moto is treating your motor, most dyno techs will do a test run to show you if your running at the right AFR % for free (or at least my local shop would). Thats when I became a believer that the FP really does suck and does nothing for the AFR (especially engine mods). Good luck.
