Is the difference worth the price? That is deffinately a matter of personal preferance. I knew I was going to do the heartland kit before I even bought the bike. It just happened that when i went on the website to check it out one more time before I purchased it the new 280 kit just came out.
The 280 kit is only $500. more than the regular heartland kit. The only thing is you need a new wheel and tire. I was planing on chrome wheels anyway so it only made sense to go with the 280 kit.
If your asking what am i going to do with the old tail light and turn signals. They are being boxed up and put away unless someone wants to buy them. If your asking what am I doing for a tail light and turn signals. I bought the heartland struts with turn signals in them and I bought the roto plate for running/brake light.

That is such a cool solution, too bad in Holland where I want to go back to you must have a centre run/brake light... grrr
Worked on the rocker a little more this weekend. got the new spacers in on friday so saturday I ran the fenders to the painter. When I got back I pulled the back tire off again and put in the new spacers. SWEET everything lines up and the brake caliper mount is center'd around the rotor.
I must say the clearances are mighty tight....
belt to tire clearance
belt to swingarm clearance
The last thing I wanted to do was check out the turn signals in the struts.
the problem I was having was the wires will not stay in the channel so
out came the hot glue gun and problem solved.
mounted them to see them work.
off
on
Now I wait for the fenders or the inner primary witchever comes first...
