You are not consedring to make a little more clearance between the fender and the belt. It looks really close. Now you have the chance before the paint is on.

The belt clearance issue isnt with the fender its with the tire and swingarm and thats just the nature of the beast not much you can do about it. This is the widest setup you can run with a factory swingarm and lefthand drive.

The most common question is. Is the 280 really that much bigger than a 240? You tell me.......

That's why I stuffed a 260 under my "250" fender. Didn't want to drop to a 240 unless absolutely necessary. The 260 is almost an inch wider than the 240 and the 280 is almost an inch wider than the 260....... sweet!

I got the paint back this week so I thought I could at least do that since i'm still waiting on the chrome inner primary.
