Looking at buying a tall sissy bar off of ebay, just the back rest not the side plates. the one i am looking at is off of a 01 dyna lorider. wondering if the width on that is the same as the width on my 02 standard?
When I look on harleys website the one they say fits my bike also fits 06 and later dyna models.
What size rear tire are you running? or what size fender do you have? if the one i bought doesnt fit i will buy it off of ya if you still have it. I think the one I bought is going to be too narrow.
The one I'm selling is too narrow for my bike (I have the 200mm tire). It came with some other parts I needed and I was told it was bought for 2002 Fat Boy. As you can see in the pictures, it's about 9" wide.
No, as far as I know there aren't special sissy bars for the detachables. The description says "except '06 FLSTFSE2, '07-later FLSTF, FLSTFB, FLSTSE/2 and FLSTSB." My bike is an 07 FLSTF included in that "except" clause. Happens a lot for the 07 FLSTF, it's kind of a P&A orphan model.
