Cams for 2004 Fatboy Carb
Just finished two hydaulic cam shoe conversions on 06 road kings. In the process we changed out the stock cams to Andrew 21N cams. Everything went great. Buddy watched us do the job and wants to change cams on his 04 Fatboy. What cams are you soft tail guys running and what results are you getting.
The 21n gave me increase torque right where I wanted it - off the line!

Im runnin 21's. Replacing the bss 2n2 with a 2n1 also made the bike run better. Other popular choices are 203's and 26's in an 88".
Your 06 RK is geared the same as his 04 FB. The weight diff is only ~50lb's. Not a big deal, especially if he ever rides 2up or added stuff to his bike like bags, shield, passing lamps... If he likes the way your bike rides then call it a day. If he wants a little less earlier, and a little more later, 26's.
