I've got a long narrow head... I wanted the Bell500, until I tried it on. In order to get it to fit on my head, I had to get small enough that it wouldnt go to my jawline.
I've never owned a Bell 5,000,000 but i have had most of the other lids listed ... And i can say that the Fulmer V2 is your ticket. That lid is designed for the narrow melon people. I have a more rounded face/head and this lid squeeeeed the **** out of me... so i sold it.
the fulmer v2 is a sized helmet so it only fits big melons if you buy the larger sizes.the biltwell is a 1 size fits all helmet and it really is 1 size for all my buddy has a globe for a head and he can squeeze into it as well ..although his eyes look like they are going to pop out of his head lol
the fulmer and the bell are quite abit larger than the biltwell and heavier as a result.
If you have to get a Helmet online first look for somewhere that allows you to slip it on and send it back if it doesn't fit. Then try to find every online review you can find. Most helmets are round fit or slightly oval. Arai makes oval shapes and some have custom cheek pads you can change for custom fit. I know a helmet is a "style" thing but if it doesn't fit correctly it is close to worthless. If you are getting one for protection it would be worth a road trip to try several on and find the right fit.
I dont know if you are looking for a DOT or a non DOT.This may be another option for you.The gold helmet is a Loser Machine Knuckle Head in XL.The Black one is a Fulmer V2 in M for size comparison. The Loser is a non DOT helmet. The difference between this and most non DOT's is that it has safety impact foam.It just does not have the standard 1 " of foam.It has about a 1/2 ".Will it help if you go down ??? I do not know but it makes me feel a little better. It seems to fit the narrow head profile you are looking for.It also keeps the lo profile look as well.I have pretty much had or have all the 3/4's helmets.Including Biltwell ,Daytona ,Bell Custom 500 ,Fulmer V2, Loser Machine etc.I like this one alot.Just another option for you.

Are you high man! .... I've owned a Fulmer V2 and its designed for a narrow shaped head. They actually run small in sizing so you actually have to size up to get correct fitment. I wear a 7 5/8 hat size and a XXL squeezed the $hit out of my melon.... no thanx
And another thing your comparing a novelty lid to a DOT lid... Of course the DOT lid is gonna be HUGE compared to a novelty.... And by the way Biltwell makes a sized DOT now and its HUGE too.....lol.
And yes man as of today i own 3 Biltwell novelty lids...... + several other brands too.

I have a fulmer v2 as well and also have a narrow head. I got a small for myself and it fits great. I rarely wear it, but I think it was on fulmers website they had a sizing chart with measurements...maybe. I don't wear it much as there is so much padding in it I feel like the great gazoo...
Regardless of the helmet type of style you are looking at I would suggest finding a dealer and trying it on. If he is to high then at least you know the size and whether or not you even like it. Then you can hit the net a find a better deal.
Never had a 3/4 but I have a narrow and small head. The Vega is awesome (1/2 lid) and the Daytona mentioned. Now, if I just found an answer for my ponytail digging in...
daytona is the smallest dot approved helmet in the market. i would look into those. Mine fits pretty damn well. cant tell ya how it woluld fit a narrow head, im pretty much average when it comes to head size. But if you haven't looked into them do it. doesnt give the bobblehead look.
