Just to answer the ol full face question, i ride with one in the winter, all 2 months of it, but i bought an oneill full face, that thing is awesome no fogging up great breathability, and it has a blue tooth system in it so i can jam some rage against the machine, loud as hell from my iphone. (or talk on the phone) but dont tell your ol lady you can talk on the phone like i did. ****er expects me to answer all the time. glad the iphones battery doesnt last long. "oh sorry beautiful, but my phone died....AT NOON!!!! if i had a new street glide i wouldnt have that problem, haha"
i live 60 miles roundtrip to the nearest town. there are 2 bike shops. neither carry any of those helmets or anything similar. i looked or called all the shops within 100 miles. (no kidding) nobody carries anything but basically full face helmets and some shops had half helmets, both dot and novelty almost no 3/4 helmets. And nobody carried any of these helmets I like. So, it will be off the iternet. Thats why I am asking before I order.
I hear you. I live in a similar place. Any time I go for a ride, it's a cruise. BUT, I will never buy another helmet without first trying it on. I have a wall full and I only like one or two. I now get mine only at bike shows where I can see how it feels on my pointy head.
I have the Biltwell DOT helmet, and found it fit my narrow but otherwise big head the best out of all of them. I found the Bell 500 and the Fulmer V2 were overall rounder in shape than the Biltwell one was.
There is only 1 way to get the perfect fit and that is to try them on personally. so if you have to do a trip to somewhere to get the make of helmet you want then so be it. It will be cheaper in the long run than keep buying on internet, just my 2c worth

Are you high man! .... I've owned a Fulmer V2 and its designed for a narrow shaped head. They actually run small in sizing so you actually have to size up to get correct fitment. I wear a 7 5/8 hat size and a XXL squeezed the $hit out of my melon.... no thanx
And another thing your comparing a novelty lid to a DOT lid... Of course the DOT lid is gonna be HUGE compared to a novelty.... And by the way Biltwell makes a sized DOT now and its HUGE too.....lol.
And yes man as of today i own 3 Biltwell novelty lids...... + several other brands too.
yup usually but as for helmets i have both and no comparison my medium fulmer is better made but much bigger than my "one size fits all biltwell" ..both fit the same except the fulmer makes me look like an astronaut and the biltwell doesnt..just my .02
oh and dude i own lots of helmets to what does that prove ..nothing except it took awhile to find the one i like
I have a fulmer v2 as well and also have a narrow head. I got a small for myself and it fits great. I rarely wear it, but I think it was on fulmers website they had a sizing chart with measurements...maybe. I don't wear it much as there is so much padding in it I feel like the great gazoo...
Drew
this is exactly my point and the main reason i switched to a biltwell
