I did the Lydalls and had a squeak issue. Went with the EBC's and all is good and low dust about the same as the Lydall's.

I had the same problem. They wound up sending me 2 or 3 sets of pads and they all sqeaked. I tried filing the edges and disc brake quiet spray to no avail. I finally spoke to a guy at Lyndalls (can't remember his name) and he sent me a bottle of yellow stuff (like thick glue). I brushed it on the back of the pads and it worked great. No squeak.

Thanks everyone for your business. I have read a lot about the pads squeaking in the newer bagger with the Brembo calipers but had never heard of it in a softail. What was the yellow goo you used?

Probably "Disk brake quiet". I have never ran wide white walls so the dust really hasn't been that much of an issue. Lyndall folks seem to be stand up guys though...
