I don't think so. Is your odometer digital?

I honestly don't know. Post a part number and we can check and see what it says it will fit...

96-03are the same... 04-up are the same...the units used to calibrate them, if you change sprockets or tire sizes work on all years...so the signal is the same ...if you are electrically savvy you could make it work. The newer ones have lights for security and sixth gear so the plug or the pin outs are different.

The part number for a speedometer of a 2005 is 67033-04 which means they had a revision in 2004.

Doubt if that one will fit a '98, but then for all you know they might have just changed the plug or added a clock function ...

It will work but you will have to put a speed sensor re calibrator on it to adjust the signal to make it read right. My friend put an 07 speedo with a tach on his 95 Bad Boy. (He had the hole drilled out on the transmission case for the speed sensor)

So I can put a 04-06 speedo in my bike? A coworker is modding one for me with red LED's and a nice custom image in it.
