Thanks all. I am specifically talking about the heritage springer bags that I am told were stock 2002-2003

These are the ones still sold per bag by the moco. I do want to check out the hog deluxe. But I am a fan of the slant top rather that the box top style

I have to order these through my indie as my bike is in storage and if I spend x amount over the winter, storage is comped. Plus I have mucho gift certificates to this shop that I got for Christmas.

I will report back. Happy to hear my laptop will fit in the heritage springer bags.

well, I ended up getting the harley springer softail bags with cycle visions barebacks quick disconnect brackets.

I am VERY happy with the setup. I don't have a detachable sissy bar, so the gap between the struts and bags is not that bad at all.

The bags are even bigger than I thought they would be and definitely seem like it would fit my laptop and more. I will have to put the laptop in like a J as the opening at the top is narrow, but the room inside is ample.

tried posting pics up. hope this works.

thanks for all your help.

Now you'll need to spend a few more dollars and get some saddlebag inserts from Kamco on ebay. They are inexpensive, easy to install and they make a WORLD of difference on how much stuff you can keep in your bags. My 2001 heritage springer bags were pretty flattened out from time and wear...they look new now, and also hold MUCH more than they did prior to the inserts. Makes getting a good detailing on the bags easier also.

Anyone have any experience with gotsaggybags.com?

I am toying with the idea of having them do the inserts rather than by the slip in kind.

Their work looks good. Just want to know if it's worth it

Thanks

Can you describe them? What kind of assembly are you looking at with the kamco? Do you need to glue the lid support?

Anyone have any experience with gotsaggybags?

Thank uou
