Default what i heard about a 120 70 21 whitewall tire

I heard from a friend who is in the bike business that avon is supposed to be coming out with a 120 70 21 whitewall in April. I really hope this is true

I hope its true... I actually called AVON last Spring and they told me they were "not going to manufacture a WWW in a 120/70/21"... "Nor do they have plans to do it in the future".... "Not enough demand for it" ....

I sent an email to Avon Tyres North America on Feb 10,2011 about offering other sizes of WWW Tires 18 & 21 etc.And on how they were missing a nice part of the market share. It was kind of done out of boredom and the lack of choice in the WWW Dept. This was the response I got. We will be reviewing new tire models at our annual meeting this month. We will see what the board decides. If a decision is made it would be 10 months before we would see WW tires. Best Regards, Sukoshi Fahey. Who knows .Lets hope it was in the works and we can have them by April. Lets just hope they are reasonably priced.

Well thats a better response than i received last Spring... When i called the N. America Avon tire rep gave me flat out NO not happening... then i asked about the future production and still got a NO... not happening....

Maybe the e-mail you received was a polite way of saying NO not happening....lol

I wish they would decide now so I could get a 21x3.5 instead of a 21x3.
